| ... it didn't work out. Didn't bring the netbook, expected we might find W-LAN at the hotel where we overnighted, so brought the iPad instead. Ooops. We were incommunicado from the time we left the house on Saturday morning. Apologies. Hope an opportunity comes next time round. And ... Gold-Ochsen is an absolute gem. Cheers to all who recommended it. Beautiful classic malty lager with depth, good country food, and old-fashioned as it gets. Loved how the bill was paid: I asked, was told to come sit at the owner's table, and the matron of the house sits down and chats after bill is settled. Loved it. |
