Indeed. Maybe someone could explain what's special or unique about Rotbier. That article Jürgen quoted doesn't say much about it other than it's what would be called "amber" lager elsewhere. I guess such copper-coloured lagers aren't all that common round here though. Be careful with the English translation though; in Oregon, "red beer" means industrial rice beer with tomato juice. Those savages, mixing other stuff in their beer...see what happens when you don't have a Reinheitsgebot! |
