Worldwide demand? Maybe. I'd bet that the BRICs have a lot to do with any increase in demand for exported German hops. European and North American beer production/consumption, in the aggregate, is still stagnant. The only segment doing well in the USA is the "craft" beer market; the biggest brewers are seeing either flat or declining demand.
