The Bamberg weather can be continental (cold winds from Russia without snow) or not so cold (around zero degree) with rain and/or snow if the winds come from the Atlantic (west or north). Maybe You look at this website some days before You will visit Bamberg. Maybe You like such events as - Nürnberg Christkindlmarkt - Bamberger Weihnachtsmarkt christmas markets - Bamberger Krippenweg A route of many christmas krips. Following this route You will find many nice views of churches, places and more in the old city of Bamberg. You will not have the possibility to visit a "Bockbieranstich" (first day of a seasonal bock) in Bamberg and the surroundings.
