Recent brewery closures

Hey Jürgen, take care because of Ahornberger doesn´t have a brewery pub. I recommend Gasthof Sack at Ahornberg. Mr. Sack sells all beers of the brewery and serves great great food. A further pub in the village just next to Sack is Gebhardt, also selling Ahornerg beers. Unforunately both don´t have a beergarden. A few kilometers away you can also drink the beers at Schwarzholzwinkel (lonely pub in the wood). The beer in these pubs you get from barrel is a sort that you can´t buy in supermarkets. It´s a very good Pils. Ahornberger Landbier is popular because of the sorts Landbier Dunkel, Hopfig and Würzig (these sorts you can get in many supermarkets in the region). I don´t like these 3 sorts very much. The best sort - unfortunately only rarely available in supermarkets - is the Märzen. Buy some bottles in the brewery or try it at an Edeka market. Please give a short report!
