I guess you're right Nick. It was only my second visit there and I really didn't inspect the barrel closely. Just saw the beer poured from a barrel and then I tasted how great the beer was and made an assumption. I agree, Sauer is worth a visit regardless of how the beer is served. At the very least have a Braunbier from the bottle and enjoy the very nice sorroundings.
