Real Zoigl

Fiedlschneider zoigl was 'ok' this year but, yes, a bit bland and not the most welcoming and atmospheric stube. Wouldn't be my favourite in spite of the fact that we share a name and a musical instrument! The local view is that the new owners have not come to terms yet with the way that a stube should be run. Apparently, the former owners (who retired) were really jolly people. Wolffram definitely not one of my favourites and definitely gassy. Shame because they brew their own 'zoigl' and could be interesting. They specialise in 'events' - street parties, leasing premises for 21st birthdays, etc., etc., and don't seem that worried about regular trade.
