Nice work, Danny, and great pictures! They really capture the mood of the places. The Spielbach place looks much more cosmopolitan than I had pictured based on reports from Jürgen, Mark, & co. ;) But do you really find the Voggendorfer Kellerbier to be strong and bitter? Compared to the other pale Kellerbier(s) like Roppelt, Geisfeld, and Witzgall? I've found the Voggendorfer to be mild with a "wax" note that I don't like and have had in various other "underhopped" lagers. Similar to the "green apple" of acetylhide (?).
