Next visit to Franken & Oberpfalz

I have no idea, but it seems more probable that the beers will be like elswhere in the Oberpfalz, that is not so different from Franconian ones. Travel by train into the Czech republic is possible via Furth im Wald, 4 trains daily to Domazlice - Plzen - Praha, two coming from Nürnberg, two from München via Regensburg. There are regrettably no local (short distance) cross-border trains apart from those four, so I do not think I'll cross the border this time. When in the area around Zwiesel, there are a more local trains across the border (Bayerisches Eisenstein / Zelezna Ruda).
