| It is not only about beer in the Oberpfalz: there are two distilleries in Bad Kötzting that make amongst many other Schnäpse: Bärwurz, from the root of Meum Athamanticum (English: baldmoney, spignel a.o.). One also makes Bayerwald whisky! http://www.bayerischer-wald.org/schmankerl/ As the brewery list is not completely up to date, I hope the Brennerei/Bärwurzerei part is. With two destilleries and two breweries, Bad Kötzting looks like a nice place for a short stay. |
