I must take an extended trip sometime, like Barry & Jimbo. Mostly, it's 5 to 7 days. Planned to exactitude during the winter months. Bus timetables and maps are printed out. Then I arrive in Franconia and the weather does not cooperate. So I have to throw away all the best laid plans of mice and men.
