Thanks for the interest, I've got hundreds of photos to sort through, compile, and then write up into a blog of some sort, I guess. It was, in a word, spectacular. The missus forgot her work for a week, we got lucky (mostly) with the weather, and even managed to find some pubs and beer. You were generally right about southern beer being stronger, but we did find a few nice ones under 3.8%, though these were mostly strays from the North! But the trend of 3.5-3-8%, very pale, very hoppy golden beer does seem slow to catch on down there. They need my help. Now, it's sunny and warm, so off to Roppelt & Griess with us.
