| Visited the newish brewery in Rednitzhembach yesterday and had some excellent Seidli with the brewer/owner Jürgen Müller and some other nice guys. Jürgen learned his job at the sadly now gone brewery Leitner, Schwabach. You can taste this in his own beers, so, at least a little bit of Leitner Bräu survives. Jürgen served us - privately, as the chairs and tables at the brewery are not a beer garden - Zwickel Pils, "Stöffla" Vollbier Dunkel and Kellerbier. All of them unfiltrated and unmistakeably central franconian in style. It was a very nice evening. |
