No reason for you to go back to München. Well, I do like the Viktualienmarkt. And the Chinesischer Turm in the Englischer Garten. But still, leave it to the unwashed masses. Your time here is already nearly up? :( If you wouldn't mind--if you have the opportunity to mention it to Herrn Popp, I'd be really grateful. It's a group of 30-35, arriving in the afternoon on Friday the 29th, staying at Hotel Oberpfälzer. I've already suggested to the tour leader (I make reservations and stuff for him) they eat there as the food and beer are good, and that they should split up to crawl to the three Zoigl-Stuben. I'm off tomorrow myself for 7 days of coastal walking split between Brighton and Weymouth (flying direct NUE - Gatwick in the evening) (with appropriate stops for refreshment planned of course) tomorrow, so I'll probably not be around here much, despite having got a new internet-enabled smartphone. Don't know how much it'll cost to use it Over There. The weather doesn't look to be cooperating nicely, but then it'll also be crappy here. Original plan was to fly to Bristol and stay a night in Bath but that didn't work out this time. I hear there's a pub there. |
