Now in Eschawo!

Hi All Now with new netbook, can report on daily basis but won't! On way here, visited lovely Leipheim and even lovelier Hirschbrau. Beer on top form and best news, managed to arrange for friend to take bottles home for me. Went to brewery and bought 5 x Dunkels and 5 x helles = cost €15. When lady owner realised I was going to Ireland with them, gave me 2 free bottles - really nice people. Also visited nearby Autenried - quite disappointing, small village but big brewery and hotel complex, bit like Drei Kronen, Memmelsdorf and part of same marketing operation. No atmosphere and pils average. Later, had Gunzberg Marzen, which was quite tasty. Arrived in Eschawo last night, looks the same but we're staying in different and absolutely superb fewo (dgs: F. Mann, sister of H. Kellermann). Went to Beim Binner,which was packed - recession, what recession! Lovely welcome by host Robert Sperber but big shock, zoigl up to €1.70! Stube as friendly as ever - joined on table by Zoiglbruderen, mad but friendly group. Hope to go up to Schoilmichel in Neuhaus shortly. More news later.
