| Some years ago we have had the "Rossdorfer Urbräu" at our (Café Abseits) beer list. The Braunbier was a saisonal beer until 2008. Since 2009 they brew it all year. Because the "Urbräu" have had a discreetly metalish flavor (sometimes), the Braunbier is more popular and they use special bottles for the "Urbräu" (we need more place for the empties), we decided to list the "Braunbier" instead the "Urbräu". Best beer of the brewery Sauer is their Bock. One of the best pale automn bocks in the area (for me on the same level as the Mönchsambacher Bock, the Griess Bock and the Huppendorfer Kathreinbock). Unfortunately sold out. |
