| You can get an 'English breakfast' - fried eggs with tomatoes, bacon, mushrooms, toast, butter, orange marmalade, tea, and orange juice - at Café Abseits. Bit of a walk in the morning, though! The Rathausschänke, just the other side of the Altes Rathaus, serves omelets from 9am on. The occasional hotel might even have cooked breakfast items, although as Fred notes, this isn't typical. Most of the time, though, I either eat as the locals do, or I have self-catering accommodation if I feel the need for a bit of fry-up. |
