Best Beer Towns in England

Been to Bristol and loved it...for a night anyway. I kissed cab driver for the first time ever there, actually, the lady who drove me from the King's Head(?) round to the hotel I was booked at when I arrived late a few years ago. She called me "Luv", you see, and this is not normal where I come from. And I'd had a bit to drink. Not yet been to Bath, but will someday.
