When I was there a couple weeks ago we sat outside. We just ordered "bier" and were served in a krug. It had been a couple of years since I'd trekked up the hill, but that slight phenolic note I've always found in their beer was sharper and came across as a little smokey. Maybe I had this and didn't know it. Anyway, it was good. Hartmann also uses "ein Hauch von Rauch" as a tagline for their rauchbier. |
