Hallerndorf area recommendations

While I agree that Lieberth's Dorfkeller is a must-visit, I would characterise its atmosphere as different than that of the Kreuzberg Keller(s); "much better" is a matter of opinion. ;) I've only been to Rittmayer's Gartenkeller once and it was depressing compared to the others. (Also not open very often?) And yes, Zentbechhofen is a must if you're staying in the area, with the Br. Fischer Keller on the near edge of the village (the Brauereigasthof in Greuth is rarely open?) and the Friedel Brauereigasthof in the center of the village. Both are very much worth visiting if you get the timing right. I'd say that Sambach's Hennemann is also worth a visit, of course. Pitifully easy by bike!
