Aufsess area recommendations

Looks pretty nice, Mark. BTW, I've stayed at Winkler in Melkendorf. The beer is variable - sometimes an undrinkable butter-bomb (diacetyl), sometimes not bad at all - but the accommodations are good value for money, and food is good; when the beer is in decent shape, it goes well with a plate of the house Zwetschgenbames. In any event, there is still a good selection of brewery-pub towns and villages in the region. Besides Geisfeld and Melkendorf, there's Roßdorf, Schammelsdorf, Köttensdorf, Strassgiech, Lohndorf, and Tiefenellern, just to name a few.
