Visit to Bamberg - on mass

ObMeToo: a lot can happen in a year, and I agree with Barry's wise counsel. As an example, my own travel plans came about just a few days ago, when a bunch of my local friends all told me they were going to Bamberg - several for the first time! - in September. They're going to be doing a more typically American-style visit though, trying to cram Bamberg and other destinations (including [ugh] Oktoberfest, and there is no dissuading most of them) into a mere eight days. The wife and I are planning on a rather more leisurely three weeks. Too early for Bockbier season, but somehow, I think we'll cope.
