I agree that whole-batch priming is better and more reliable than fiddling about with adding some amount of priming sugar to each bottle. I've had success with making a small batch of wort from dried malt extract as a priming medium, and adding that to the fermented batch of unprimed beer. And beware that final gravity prior to priming - do make sure your beer has finished primary fermentation. Bottle bombs are not good! |
