They voted for unlimited strikes. Yeah, if you do end up driving and if the timing works out for you to pick him up...it'd be kind of daft for you not to pick him up, based on the respective distances I see from maps.google.de (Zürich-FRA-Bamberg vs. Zürich-Bamberg and Erlangen-FRA-Bamberg) Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen's Apfelwein is well worth an evening if he does get stuck there though!
