| My comment on the GPS was more about how every German location wanted to rent me one for €8/day while very few of the Swiss locations had them and when they did they were CHF 25/day. If it was free, I'd use it -- otherwise the money is better spent on beer (once I reach Bamberg, of course) I'd always pictured my 1st car rental in Germany to be a Porsche 911 Turbo, tooling along the Autobahn at 200+ kpm. Instead it looks like to be a Fiat Panda where I almost have to get out and push when going up a hill. Reality sucks :) Hertz dd offer me an upgrade to Porsche Cayenne for only €3700/week. I passed. |
