| OTOH, the Windsor strain is everything the Notters ain't --leaves a lot left in the ferment, doesn't flocc out nicely-- though does have a lovely fruitiness. And I have had a couple of dead packages of Notters. Proof like it says to do, and if the grains or particles don't seem to have frothed up or come to life in some way after 15 minutes' rest in the water, assume it's dead and try another package. I say the Notters is like the S04 in aggressiveness and flocculation, but without the Evil. ;) |
