Hopping Mad

Homebrewing a good kellerbier or 'U' for me is the next great challenge. I've been able to brew pretty damn good lagers (Bocks, Rauchbiers, Helles, Dunkles) but have never been able to get that Franconian taste to them. Most likely the water I suppose. Still I would like to attempt a Kellerbier. I'm torn as to whether or not I should get a barrel for the task.
