How Many Breweries?

In Britain we don't really use the term "private brewery". the 767 just refers to breweries of all sorts. The question of "Europe" and the channel is a very sticky point. and in England usually depends on whether the person using the term is pro or anti Britain's involvement in Europe. I like to refer to continental Europe as the "mainland"this tends to get faces purple and blood pressures to rise!
