| I like that idea Don, seems very civilised. But I find it easier to eat food after drink rather than before or during. Perhaps because I was a pint drinking man in British style - i.e. quite a lot! What I didn't say (but maybe did before?) is that it was my habit (and those of tens of thousands of my beer and food loving countrymen) to go out at night, drink a rake (5 - 10 pints) of good ale and then go for an Indian after (usually after 11 p.m.). Not surprisingly, my punctuality at work left a little to be desired and maybe even contributed to my present condition, though we are talking about 40 years ago. |
