Schwemme

I often pop into the Schlenkerla Schwemme for a quick glass and just stand if all the seats are taken. Nice place. My funniest story there was the time the Schwemme was filled with Japanese tourists. I forget who I was with, but we wanted a picture of us, so I approached some Japanese and said, "Sumimasen!" ("excuse me"). They were shocked by my use of Japanese, but then happily took my picture with my camera.
