| Yeah every now and then I'll run into a microbrewery that has a Rauchbier. Titletown Brewing Company in Green Bay had a Bamberger Rauchbier on tap when I visited a couple of years ago. Buzzard's Bay Brewing Company in Westport, MA brewed one years ago and it wasn't very good. Even Gritty McDuff's in Portland, ME attempted one a couple of years back but they used the same yeast they use on all their ales (Ringwood I believe - they should chance the name of Portland to Ringwood City) and it tasted strange to say the least. |
