I watched the England/Germany game upstairs in our apartment in Eschawo. In the garden, our hosts were going crazy as each goal went in. They had invited us to watch it with them but I had a little premonition that things might not go so well! However, we joined them later for several Teicher Zoigls and they were most gracious. It is estimated that pro's cover around 10 kms in a game - a little more than I used to in those far off days when I thought I could be a player! Getting more and more tempted with Kreuzberg - might try to plan hols to stay close by for a day or several.
