| Visited Nikl-Bräu in november 2008 when it had just opened, and was not impressed, so there must have been a lot of improvement. Time for another visit. I agree about the Beck Zoigl, having tasted it at the Sandkerwa: not a bad beer, but the bitterness is too harsh. Had quite a few better Zoigl-beers in the Oberpfalz, for instance at Mitterteich (Oppl and Zoiglbauer), Falkenberg (Wolfadl) and Windischeschenbach (Schlosshof), to name but a few. |
