| Had an experience like that on an ICE from Düsseldorf to Utrecht this year. Someone jumped in front of our train between Düsseldorf and Duisburg. That is a four track line (2 long distance, two S-Bahn tracks). I was in the end compartment and could see the proceedings. We were well informed, got offered free (non-alcoholic) drinks but had a delay of over an hour. All train traffic was stopped for that period of time. |
