What's market in Erlangan like?

Well the big one is quite a bit smaller than the Bamberger one, and the new little mediaeval one is tiny, but with a great Feuerzangenbowle stand, as well as Met, in addition to the obligatory Glühwein. And it's nestled nicely between a church and some fine old houses. http://tinyurl.com/35vuxgm is the mediaeval one, and here http://www.frankenradar.de/files/event_bilder/IMG_0352.jpg you can even see the big cone o' sugar to the left of and behind the Feuerzangenbowlemädchen's head. Tough (for me, at least) to find photos of the big one but http://tinyurl.com/2uoh4ka gives a decent enough impression, at the Schlossplatz. Whether it's really worth your time is up to you; they're quaint little Märkte (plural!) compared to Bamberg and N-berg.
