| Barry, Its not that bad, usually, coming back from Stansted. Its usually done by car so can vary depending on the traffic. Its more that we have to leave hotel/fewo by 10, then dump our bags at Nuremberg station and wait around all day. Not the worst thing in the world, but Huttn is only open at 4 and Schanzenbrau doesnt open until 5. Plus as one of us would be driving, we cant drink much anyway. I just like the idea of getting on a train in Bamberg at 1130 and arriving in Central London at 8pm and at €49 its cheaper than Air Berlin. Using Ryan Air to anywhere else would probably take as long as the train. Jan, Thanks for that. I already know my dates in May so can book 90 days in advance. |
