| I can't tell you how many times I have read an American or English post online about "how great this Abfüllung brewery is." People often don't know that when this appears on the label, it means that the bottle was filled (abgefüllt) at the Brauerei (as opposed to at some other place), that it's not the name of a brewery. It is good to hear that Schlenkerla do not want to have their bottles filled outside, that they want to keep control of their process. It's fairly common for breweries around here to have someone else do their bottling, I think. |
