OT - visit to Belgium

I'm 45 and have stayed in single rooms with bath at hostels in Buenos aires and Sydney, Australia. Comfortable lodging that was a good deal and I didn't feel out of place. Lots of people older than me were there. Many hostels now offer single and double rooms with bath to appeal to an older clientele that are in a good location and a good value. Read the reviews on sites like hostel.com to get feel for which places older people would feel comfortable. I haven't tried Brussels since my brother lives there and I have free lodging.
