Bock Bier

As a general rule in franconia the spring bocks are not so strong than the bocks in the fall (p.e. Mönchsambacher Maibock versus Mönchsambacher Weihnachtsbock, Huppendorfer Josefi-Bock versus Huppendorfer Kathreinbock). The small and middle-ranged breweries use their labels for many years and show the same alcohol content in all years. The real alcohol content differ, in the majority of cases the real alcohol content is greater than the imprinted alcohol content.
