Nürnberg to Bamberg by train?

Once on my way to NUE the train stopped in Fürth with an "everybody get off" announcement. I couldn't understand the rest of the announcement (bad PA system plus accent) about getting to Nürnberg so I just took a taxi to the airport. It turns out Fürth is relatively close to NUE. So if you don't mind spending €20 or so instead of waiting, take a taxi to Fürth and then catch an RE.
