My Top Ten

Well, to be fair, this thread's discussion topic is about top-ten beer venues outside of Bamberg (more or less). Also, I think we tend to list more obscure places because Bamberg is comparatively easy to navigate and learn, with such a good abundance of places not just within town, but often within walking distance of each other. Even in my own top-10 Franconia brewery-pub list, I give the nod to Schlenkerla, not because it needs any help from me, but because it is arguably one of the world's great pubs, pouring one of the world's great beers. I don't have any problem with stopping in at Fässla either, especially if the Bambergator is on!
