Vegetarian and Vegan DINING options in Bamberg are surrounding??

Thank goodness you can't - it's become bad enough as it is! It's all tied up with social life - Pubs in the Uk and Ireland were mainly male orientated, nightime activities: finish work, go home, have meal, get changed, go to pub, drink loads of beer (and then go and have a curry!). People are always astonished in Germany when I tell them that I don't go out to the pub until after 10 p.m. OTOH, I just couldn't get the hang of the opening hours in Dorfleins - turned up one night at 8 p.m. (official closing that night 11 pm) to find them closing. Reason: everyone had gone home to watch Bayern in the European Cup! Get a telly in the bar and enjoy yourself!
