Nick - any beer advice for an ex-pat from Seattle?

Funny that the guy mentioned Munich (as in not wanting to travel clear down there from Berlin) but didn't seem to know about Berlin's Bavarian-style brewpubs (Lindenbräu and Hopfingerbräu), the two Mommseneck beer bars (both allowed to use the name, but not the same companies, to the consternation of the folks who run the original in Charlottenburg), Ron Pattinson's on-line beer guide to Berlin, and assorted other places, not to mention easy day trips on DB to places like Leipzig and Jena for some genuine sour wheat beers, or just a bit farther to. I'm from Seattle too, and could add a little enlightenment if so desired.
