Quick DBahn ticket question

What everyone else has said matches my experience to daate. The ICE fare is principal here--you're paying about twice the fare of a RB/RE ticket. There's no difference in price between local train service (RB, RE, IRE(?)). The conductor should kiss your feet for deigning to ride his RB/RE train after having paid such a premium. The only question in my mind is whether the ticket is bound to a specific schedule. Then changing ICE's is problematic, but I can't imagine they'd care about the cheap leg of the trip.
