Real ale tradition

Never had a keg version of any Fullers but I suppose that it must be like the pasteurised/filtered bottled variety. One pleasing trend in the UK is the increased availability of bottled 'real ale'. I remember the time when you could only get Worthington White label and Guinness (we used to use the sediment as the starter for our home brews) but now many of the new breweries sell bottled versions of their offerings. Wish I could get some here in Ireland! Incidentally, has anyone (outside Germany) tried Schlenkerla's online mail order service or any other Franken mail order?
