| Hi! In my opinion Fred Waltman did a really great job when he started this website. As everybody knows, it’s an awful lot of work. Many thanks to Fred so far! What I’m missing is some maintenance work; it’s absolutely not up to date. Why not keeping it the best source of information about franconian breweries on the www? Some thoughts: • Does it make sense to keep all the closed breweries on the homepage? Nobody’s going to visit them to try the beer anyway, because there is no beer. • Where are all the new breweries? Some are working on a professional basis for years now and should be included. • Some ‘fake breweries’ which buy the beer to their recipe from a Lohnbrauerei are included, some not. Why? Either all or none would make things clearer. Well, maybe I’m thinking too much in a german manner, but I like this website very much and would like to contribute to it. It’s sort of frustrating, when you send information to no effect. No harm meant! ;-) Cheers Jürgen @Fred: He, you asked me for my top ten and I sent them months ago… |
