Beck Elevator

It's not just about strength though. Andy at Beck is pioneering new kinds of beer. The term "imperial IPA" didn't exist before some Yank brewer coined it to describe what would otherwise be just a strong IPA. No reason why German brewers shouldn't do the same. The Elevator does taste (and above all, smell) like a double-imperial IPA or barleywine, though without ale fruitiness, not like a Doppelbock.
