| The very nice beer bar in Portland called Novare Res has been advertising a cask ale event now for a few weeks in conjunction with NERAX. A friend of mine emailed me the list today: http://www.nerax.org/novareres/beerlist.html Lo and behold there are 10 German casks on the list including some Franconian favorites: Mönchsambacher Lagerbier Beck Trabelsdorf Kellerbier Huppendorfer Vollbier Günther-Bräu Jubiläumsbier Bayer Theinheim Landbier Ahornberger Landbier Dunkel Löwenbräu Buttenheim Ungespundetes Lagerbier Rossdorfer Urbräu Weissenohe Festbier Hofstetten Granit Bock (Austria) Now go figure, I have previous plans I can't break this Saturday. Uncle Jimbo, if I were you and had Saturday free I'd be on that commuter rail to Portland Saturday. |
