There's a new series of culinary shows featuring a Michelin star chef going around visiting various things in Bavaria this week. Today's episode (17.00 BR3) is in the Fränkischen Schweiz, including Bamberg & Schlenkerla: http://www.br-online.de/bayerisches-fernsehen/geschichten/christian-juergens-kueche-ID1283862235286.xml . Unfortunately, the show has adopted the American style somewhat, with excessive camera movement --zooming in and out, moving around too much, making the viewer nauseous-- and too much focus on the stars and what they want to blah-blah about, less focus on the food and drink, like in typical German culinary tv shows. And then on the 28th, "Das etwas andere Bier - Zoigl" will be broadcast on BR3 at 17.00.
