| Okay, that's good to know. I didn't think it was exactly like Chinook as I used to homebrew with, but I've also never used Amarillo. It is indeed a very citrus-y hop, like the other "c-" hops. I shall come try it again when you put it on. "The names barley wine or triple bock are not used in Germany." Indeed. And beers like this are also not brewed in Germany. My point is, he is pioneering new kinds of beers (lager brewed to barleywine strength, with completely different hops and bittering rates), so he should pioneer a new style description. It's The American Way. :) |
